Authentic Iowa farming — on a massive 4X scale. 
Carroll Iowa 4X is built from real-world terrain data and packed with authentic farm layouts, roads, and landscapes from the heart of Carroll County, Iowa. Every road, field, and tree line is placed with care to bring a true Midwest farming experience to FS25.

Map Features

• 4X Scale – four times the size of a standard FS map for unmatched space and realism.

• Real-world farms – multiple farmsteads recreated from their real-life counterparts.

• Custom buildings – made specifically for this project to match authentic Iowa architecture.

• Flexible farming – numerous pre-built farms plus open spaces where you can design your own.

• Diverse landscapes – rolling farmland, creeks, small groves, and detailed rural infrastructure.

• Sell points – including the NEW Cooperative and Jacobson Livestock, with more to come in future updates.

Development & Testing

This map is currently in beta testing and will receive regular updates.
We’re releasing it in stages so testers can focus on specific areas at a time. The east side is playable now, with the west side and additional features coming soon.

When testing is complete, the final version will be released for free here on itch.io.

Important Note on First Load Times

On your first time launching the map, the game may appear to “hang” at 100% – Compiling Shaders for several minutes.
This is normal for large maps and will not affect subsequent load times. Please be patient.

• -Lowered Airplane volume and reduced range.
• -Fixed meadow/field grass not being mowed.

• Improved looks of Wheat, Barley, Oats.

• Rye nitrogen boost when cultivated (precision farming).
• Fixed missing textures, collision issue, and clip distances at NEW Cooperative. 
• Field 40 moved away from fence.
• Field 27 moved away from edge of map.
• Moved map border collisions away from map edge (May still need more, please test). 
• Added corn stalk windrow (Straw for now until we update the cornstalk bales textures).
